When Pointe Claire native Shanna Roberts Salée contacted me more than a year ago to write about her original web series called Mistakes Were Made, I was intrigued. At the age of 29, she has already written her first novel (The Lying Juillards), works as an assistant director for various TV shows and movies being shot here and serves as director and producer for Quixote Productions.Mistakes Were Made is right now the first of what might be other projects under the Quixote Productions umbrella. This millennial comedy is all about the adventures of three young ladies, Clara (Roberts Salée), Lizzie (Emilie Carbonneau), and April (Pointe Claire’s Christina Kelly) as they weave their dubious path to adulthood, one mistake at a time. I watched each of the five minute or so eight episodes from season one in a single sitting.
