Wednesday, March 27, 2019

SYDNEY, N.S. - Service Nova Scotia is investigating allegations that S.W. Chant Funeral Home conducted a funeral without a licence this week. Sheldon Chant denies any wrongdoing. "A funeral home licence is required to provide funeral merchandise and services to the public," said Marla MacInnis, a spokesperson for Service Nova Scotia, in an email. "Chant's Funeral Home's licence is currently suspended." The allegation appeared to surprise Sheldon Chant, the owner of the funeral home. Sheldon Chant "An employee of Chant's went to a personal friend's uncle's funeral and someone reported that we were doing the funeral," he said in an email response. "Wow. You can find this out very easily by looking into who the funeral was for and who the remains (were) released to and I can guarantee it was not us." Chant said whoever has the remains is the funeral home in charge, Chant's Funeral Home did not provide any service as a funeral home. Chant said the funeral home's phone lines remain operational and if asked, he and his staff will give an opi...

Instead, they found "a nightmare," she said. Since that day, Stark has been determined to build a legacy for Ryder and Radek that would make them proud. "I'm their voice now and it gives me a mission to spread awareness, so this doesn't keep happening." ‘Give them wings' The people who post R&R stic...

Wednesday, March 27, 2019

I think you can still be very creative and you have to be very creative," she says. "If you're a good architect, you have the responsibility to be a good designer and be innovative. It allowed me to do both."
